I am in the initial stages of a book I am illustrating about finding treasures in seaweed. This book is a commissioned work for a little girl who is afraid, like so many!, of these underwater plants. Here are a couple rough sketches in ink-phase one of this process. New posts to update you on my progress coming soon.

The first of my new birdhouses this spring (alright...it's not spring yet...but I am already thinking spring!). This was wheel-thrown and hand-carved. It is glazed in a beautiful gradient of colors ranging from chocolate brown to powder blue to a dusty purple. Available in my etsy shop
